Sacred Harp in Dublin, 9-10 Mar. 2012

The BIB editor reports:

While attending the inspirational old-time show last night at the Stag's Head (announced on the BIB last week), I had the further pleasure of meeting members of the Sacred Harp of Dublin group. Their weekly meetings began on 17 Feb. and are held in Exchange Dublin, on Exchange St., Temple Bar, Dublin 2, from 7.00 to 9.00 p.m. - with the exception of last Friday, which came immediately before the Second Ireland Sacred Harp Convention in Cork city. The series resumes tonight, and there will also be a Sacred Harp singing workshop tomorrow (Saturday 10 Mar.) at the Franciscan Friary, 4 Merchant's Quay, Dublin, from 11.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
