Old-time music in central Dublin, 8 Mar. 2012

Lena Ullman (banjo), Ivan Murray (guitar), and Anna Falkenau (fiddle) will be playing some great old stringband music in the Poor Mouth Folk Club in the Stag's Head, Dame Court (remember that place?) on Thursday 8 March; doors 9.00 p.m., adm. €6.
Bill modestly omits that (according to the Club's Facebook page) support will be provided by himself and friends. And yes: we do remember the Stag's Head, a hospitable venue for the Sackville String Band in 1976 after they emerged from Hartigan's basement in Leeson Street...
