Traditional (and other) music at Mount Merrion, 21 Mar. 2010

Thanks to Patrick Simpson of the Bluestack Mountain Boys, who writes:

I thought I would let you know of an Irish Traditional Evening on Sunday 21 March in aid of Mount Merrion Parish and Scoil San Treasa in the Mount Merrion Community Centre. I know there is a lot of 'closet' players out there who love the Bluegrass Blog and Irish music! So I'm sending you out the word to anyone who wishes to come down and enjoy or join in the post-St Patrick's Day celebrations for a good cause. The fun should begin at around 8.15 p.m. and admission is €5. Happy St Patrick's Day!

The Mount Merrion Community Centre is next to St Theresa's Church on top of Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin, and can be reached either from the Rise or from the roundabout where North Avenue, South Avenue, and Deerpark Road meet. Ample car parking. For a similar previous event at the Centre with a bluegrass/old-time ingredient, see the BIB for 17 Dec. 2007.
