The Simpsons Bluegrass Band (and friends from the bluegrass and old-time mafia of Dublin) formed part of an afternoon of traditional music, dance, and refreshments at the Mount Merrion Community Centre, south Dublin, on Sunday 9 December. The Centre, set in a completely refurbished historic building which was originally a lodge and later a chapel, turned out to be a great venue for intimate concerts, as well as for a fair number of dancers.
