Update 19 Sept.: The band's tour schedule now shows a total of seventeen dates in this island from 25 Jan. to 14 Feb., with an interval of four dates in Britain, which include performing in the 2023 Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow. In addition, details of several of the dates shown above have been amended. A full updated list is now on the BIB calendar.

Killworth gig is now on in Banteer.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Anonymous for the above comment, received on 1 Dec. 2022. The BIB has been keeping track of changes in the schedule - especially as we'd heard that Kilworth had problems - and the poster of the schedule in its final form went on the BIB on 26 Oct. (https://bluegrassireland.blogspot.com/2022/10/complete-special-c-tour-schedule-for.html).

Abject apologies - my comment above was pure self-delusion. The poster image I mentioned says 'Kilworth', and the BIB calendar still says 'Kilworth', though it'll be changed to 'Banteer' at once. Is the actual venue at Banteer known?

Thanks to Nigel Martyn, the tour organiser, for confirming that the venue at Banteer is the Glen Theare. Nigel also reports that the online booking link in the band's tour schedule remains the same.
