Tony Rice, 1951-2020

David Anthony 'Tony' Rice, who died on Christmas day last year, was born seventy years ago today (8 June 1951). Much has since been published about him, on the internet and elsewhere, some of which has been mentioned on the BIB earlier this year. Update: Thanks to the IBMA Facebook for a reminder that Tony Rice's early hero and mentor, Clarence White, was born seven years and one day earlier - 7 June 1944.
