Pe & Pe in Dublin: update

The Czech fiddle-and-banjo duo Pe & Pe (Petra and Petr) are back in Dublin after a trip in which they played around Ireland in several places, including the very enjoyable 6th Ardara Bluegrass Festival in Co. Donegal last weekend.

Pe & Pe are due to return to the Czech Republic on Tuesday 30 July, and had been hoping to pick with other musicians in Dublin before they go home. Unfortunately, it now looks as if this won't be possible, and we look forward to their next visit. For banjo freaks: Petr's instrument is a converted 1928 Gibson TB-1 with a maple neck and an inlay pattern in the style of the top-tension Gibsons of the late 1930s.
