Band news
After a hectic Indian summer for the music here (in the past month, six bands from the USA visited Ireland), things have quietened down but plenty of interest is still happening.
The Blue Light Smugglers (above) were missing last night from their eyrie in the Dublin mountains: they can be seen and heard, though, tomorrow night (16 Nov.) from 9.00 p.m. till 1.00 a.m. at the Rainbow Bistro, 76 Murray St., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K1N 5M6. They arrived in Toronto last Thursday and played there in Grossman's Tavern on Spadina Ave on Friday night. And they'll be back in the Blue Light on 21 Nov.; more photos and details are on their Facebook.
