Westport stars make their mark on the Continent

The Kentucky Cow Tippers (GB), who made a big impression at this year's Westport Folk and Bluegrass Festival in Co. Mayo two months ago and will be playing at the Moniaive Michaelmas Bluegrass Festival in Scotland six weeks from now, came second in the European Bluegrass Band Contest at the big La Roche Bluegrass Festival at the foot of the French Alps this past weekend - second only to the multi-award-winning G-Runs 'n' Roses (CZ).
