Barwick & Siegfried at the Mill, Dundrum, 4 June 2016

Following the tour notice in the BIB of 1 May, thanks to Gerry Fitzpatrick, organiser of the Cabin Sessions in Dundrum, Dublin 14, for a reminder of the final show in the tour:

Just to let you know about a special gig we are running at the Maureen O'Hara Studio in the Mill Theatre [Dundrum] on Saturday 4 June at 8.00 p.m. From Northern California, Kathy Barwick and Pete Siegfried. Amazing instrumentalists and great vocal harmonies. Great chance to hear authentic American folk music in the intimate setting of the Maureen O'Hara Studio! Support by 'The Fret Pickers' (Pat Killalea & Cathal Cusack).

Barwick & Siegfried are also award-winning members of the North California bluegrass scene. Today (Thurs. 2 June) they played in Galway city and will be playing in Hollywood, Co. Wicklow, on Friday; all dates are on the BIB calendar.

This tour coincides with the release of Long time gone, their second CD for FGM Music. More information is on the Barwick & Siegfried website, and tickets for the MIll can be booked online. Media and radio interview requests can be sent to Kathy by e-mail.
