Rob Heron & the Teapad Orchestra (UK) back in Ireland, 22-5 Nov. 2014

As the BIB mentioned earlier this year, Rob Heron & the Tea Pad Orchestra, 'the UK's finest purveyors of Western Swing, Ragtime & Hokum Blues', were in Ireland for a week's tour in March. Thanks to G Promo PR for news of their imminent tour in these islands from 1 November to 7 December - mostly in Britain, but with four dates in Ireland:

Sat. 22nd Nov. The Grand Social, Dublin 1
Sun. 23rd: The Spirit Store, Dundalk, Co. Louth
Mon. 24th: Crane Lane Theatre, Cork city
Tues. 25th: The Sky and the Ground, Wexford town

They're highly regarded, notably by US artist Pokey LaFarge, whom they have supported on tours. Apart from anything else, they're an example of the revival of the archtop guitar. You can hear them on SoundCloud, their website, and on YouTube - for instance, here and here. They are also on Facebook.
