Brendan Power and Frankie Lane at Fermoy, 26 Oct. 2014

The Palace Theatre is honored to welcome two superlative musicians who are coming together for their first-ever performance as a duo as part of the first outing for the Palace Theatre Folk Club on Sunday 26 October at 8.00 p.m. in the Palace Theatre Fermoy, Ashe Quay, Fermoy, Co. Cork.

UK-based Brendan Power is one of the most creative, skilled, and versatile harmonica players around today. Brendan is an All Ireland Harmonica Champion, winner of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Award, and has been named SPAH’s International ‘Harmonica Player of the Year’.

He’ll meld his earthy blues harp with Irishman Frankie Lane’s dobro and steel guitar for a unique and unforgettable one-off night. Frankie was nominated for both a prestigious Meteor Music Award in the Country/Roots category and an I.R.M.A. music award.
