Thanks again to John Nyhan for the news that a Roots Music Weekend will be held in Buttevant, Co. Cork, from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st Sept. 2014. The venues will be O'Neill's bar, McCarthy's bar, and the Mercy Centre Hall.

Singer/songwriter Buddy Mondlock, together with bassist Mike Lindauer, begins on Sun. 7 Sept. a tour of these islands, with a special expedition to Ireland managed by John Smith Music Tours. Buddy writes on his website:

... Mike Lindauer (my trusty bassist and singing partner) and I have been traveling to Ireland for nearly twenty years now. I’ve completely fallen in love with the beauty of the place - the nature, the music and especially the people! And every time I announce the tour I always get a bunch of e-mails back saying things like 'Need a roadie?' or 'Wow, I’ve always wanted to go. Got any room left in your suitcase?' I’m happy to say that this coming autumn you can come with me!
