In memory: Vinny Baker

Thanks to Danny Slevin of the organising team for the gala concert commemorating the irreplaceable Vinny Baker. The concert was held on Tuesday 24 June in the Greville Arms Hotel, Pearse St., Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, began at 7.45 p.m., and went on well after midnight with a full and distinguished lineup, and a packed  and enthusiastic audience.

Danny reports that the evening raised £3,712 for St Camillus Nursing Centre at Killucan, Co. Westmeath. The handing-over of the cheque to Fr Monks took place early last month (see photo below from the concert's Facebook page).
