Tumbling Bones: tour news and new CD

Tumbling Bones, from Portland, Maine, began last night (Friday 21 Mar.) a tour in the north-eastern US to warm them up for their six-week tour in Ireland, Germany, and Britain which begins on 10 April. It will be their third time in Ireland.

Tumbling Bones, 'a group of young men inspired by old music', consists of Kyle Morgan (vocals, guitars, upright bass, piano, organ), Jake Hoffman (vocals, upright bass, banjo), and Pete Winne (vocals, guitars, banjo, harmonica, buck-dancing).

At present, they're feeling particularly inspired, and proud of their first full-length album, Loving a fool, which was released on Tuesday 18 Mar. for digital download from their Bandcamp site. It will be released in Europe on 31 Mar. (thus available on the tour) and in the US on 3 June.

The schedule for their tour in Ireland (10-29 Apr.) remains as published on the BIB on 5 Mar. 2014, with one addition: during the weekend 19-21 Apr., while resident at the Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh, Co. Tyrone, they will also be playing at Myles K. McCann's bar in John St., Omagh, from 10.30 p.m. on the Saturday night (19 Apr.) All dates are on the BIB calendar.

More details are on the band's latest e-newsletter.
