Detached notes

Thanks to Ray O'Brien for forwarding this news from Roger Ryan of the Country Music Association of Ireland: Rattlesnake Annie (USA), longtime ambassador of American roots music to the rest of the world, will be on tour in Ireland in the first half of July, beginning on Thursday 3 July.

Roger announces for event organisers that the following dates are still available: all from Tuesday 8 July to Tuesday 15 July. A YouTube video of Annie in Japan with Masamitsu Oshima can be seen here. Anyone interested in presenting this unique performer should contact Roger by e-mail or mobile 'phone (087-2944821). More details, including a full bio (and Annie's is a remarkable life), are on Ray's 'Bluegrass in Ireland' Facebook page.
