Prison Love at Whelan's, Dublin 2, 15 Feb. 2014

Thanks to Mark 'Marko' O'Mahony (second from left above) for this news:

Howdy Folks,

Prison Love bring their barnstorming bluegrass, outrageous old-time, and confounding cajun music to the luxurious upstairs stage of Whelan's next Saturday, 15 Feb.

Expect the relentless tempo of David Holden’s mandolin, aching melodies of Adrian Hart's fiddle, Paul Mulcahy's flat-picking guitar and banjo, driving rhythm of Konrad Liddy's dog-house bass, and the raucous vocals of Mark O’Mahony.

This is the finest musical moonshine this side of the big pond. Doesn't matter if you're dancing or listening, come aboard and take a swig of some real-deal American roots music.

Where: Whelan's, Wexford St., Dublin 2
When: 15 Feb. (Doors 8.00 p.m.; show 9.00 p.m.)
Entry: €10 (Includes access to Whelans late bar and club)

Hope to see you there!
