More from Brookfield Knights - and the Red Room

Hot on the heels of this afternoon's news from the Brookfield Knights agency about the Hot Seats comes another message from BK's Loudon Temple about the recent very successful tour in these islands by the 'Quebecois powerhouse trio' De Temps Antan, whose sold-out shows included the Celtic Connections festival finale and a capacity crowd at the Black Box in Belfast. A very similar effect, on a more intimate scale, was felt at Ireland's premier house-concert venue, the Red Room, Cookstown, Co. Tyrone, where the trio played on Tuesday 28 January. Plenty of confirmation can be found on the Red Room's Facebook page - which now has a new cover photo (see above). The next guests at the Red Room are the Pennsylvania trio, The Stray Birds, on Tuesday 11 February (see the BIB for 1 January for more about them).

Loudon Temple announces that De Temps Antan are due back in Europe at the end of October and will be available for dates in these islands from 2 to 23 November, possibly till 30 November if there is enough demand. Anyone interested in booking them should contact Brookfield Knights.
