Hot Seats - dates available in summer 2014

We posted news back in August and October 2013 about plans for a new tour by the Hot Seats (above) from Virginia in these islands in late July and early August 2014. The Hot Seats, presenting 'old-time music with attitude' (Washington Post), have previously made their mark at British events such as Celtic Connections, the Shetland Folk Festival, Didmarton Bluegrass Festival, Leicester Summer Sundae, Maverick Festival, Speyfest, the Edinburgh Fringe, and HebCeltFest, and they won a Herald Angel - the biggest accolade available - for a sell-out seven-night run in the Famous Spiegeltent at Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Thanks to the Brookfield Knights agency, who now announce that the Hot Seats are already booked for the Seamus Ennis Cultural Centre at Naul, Co. Dublin, on Saturday 2 August, and for the Bluegrass Picnic in the Park at Bangor, Co. Down, on Sunday 3 August (part of the Open House Festival summer holiday season). This means the following dates in Ireland are available:

Fri. Aug. 1: FREE
