High Plains Tradition and Martin Gilmore - the full tour schedules, 16-27 Jan. 2014

Thanks to John Nyhan, tour organiser extraordinaire, for full details of the coming New Year tour by High Plains Tradition (USA), the classic bluegrass band from Colorado. John's heading slogan is 'Back by popular demand, the return of High Plains Tradition has been eagerly awaited', and he's not kidding.

An added feature to several of the HPT shows will be the presence of Martin Gilmore, singer/ songwriter in bluegrass and country genres. Martin is the guitarist and lead singer with the bluegrass band Long Road Home, which features the iconic banjo player Pete Wernick ('Dr Banjo').

The complete HPT schedule is as follows - beginning (thanks to Sean McManus) in Meath with a new venue for bluegrass music, and continuing in Clare with a well established multi-genre music festival:
