Chris Thile opens European tour in Dublin, 5 Nov. 2013

Thanks to the European Bluegrass Blog for the news that the outstanding mandolinist Chris Thile (left) of the Punch Brothers will be touring in Europe from early next week.

As the first show of the tour, he will be playing in concert at the Pepper Canister Church, Mount Street Crescent, Dublin 2, on this coming Tuesday (5 Nov. 2013), scheduled to start at 7.30 p.m. Tickets can be booked online. NB: the Ticketmaster page shows Chris with Michael Daves, but his online calendar makes it clear that the concert is solo.

The remaining five shows on the tour will be in Britain, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain. He will make a brief Australian tour in January 2014.
