Wookalily made their mark on the international bluegrass scene as recording artists in January this year when legendary country and bluegrass songwriters Tom T. and Miss Dixie Hall of Good Home Grown Music released the latest 'Daughters of Bluegrass' four-CD, 69-song project Pickin' like a girl. Track #17 on the first disc, the Dixie Hall composition 'To a dove', is performed by Wookalily. The next issue of Bluegrass Europe magazine will include special features on 'Women in bluegrass', with Wookalily alongside such pioneer performers as Roni Stoneman.
