Berea Bluegrass All-Stars at Bruff - on video

After a splendid weekend at the Ballyhooly Arts Festival in Co. Cork, we're grateful to Leo Hayes of the Banjaxed Bluegrass Band in Limerick for this link to a YouTube video of the Festival headliners, the Berea Bluegrass All-Stars from Kentucky with their powerhouse lead vocalist Ashley Long, performing at Bruff, Co. Limerick, on Tuesday last. The band are shown in close-up, singing Darrell Scott's 'You'll never leave Harlan alive'. Among its many rewarding aspects the Festival featured a powerful music programme, and we're pleased to report that the Down and Out Bluegrass Band made a strong and favourable impression on the Kentucky visitors.
