I Draw Slow in Bluegrass Unlimited
The December 2012 issue of Bluegrass Unlimited magazine carries a nice review by Derek Halsey of the I Draw Slow album Redhills in its new Pinecastle configuration. The reviewer, noting that most of the numbers recorded are new compositions by Dave and Louise Holden, writes:
Because of that, there is a singer-songwriter aspect to this project, and the good news is that the songs and story-telling is of high quality, the arrangements are solid, and the group as a whole is very talented... the more I listen to Redhills, the more it reminds me of what Monroe called the 'ancient tones'...
