Christmas Past at the Folk Park, Omagh

As part of the Christmas events programme of the National Museums of Northern Ireland (NMNI), the Ulster American Folk Park - venue for Ireland's largest annual bluegrass/old-time event - at Omagh, Co. Tyrone, will present an 'Irish & American Christmas Past' from Tuesday 18 Dec. 2012 to Sunday 6 Jan. 2013 - the twelve days of Christmas plus one week. The Park's release says:

Step back in time and experience a traditional 1700s, 1800s & 1900s Christmas in rural Ulster and Pioneer America! The whole family can enjoy a day out exploring the treasures the outdoor museum has to offer.

We hope there will be a fiddle and/or banjo there on the final day to play 'Breaking up Christmas' in Round Peak style. Read the details from the Park here, and the full NMNI Christmas programme here.
