Bookings sought for Leon Hunt's tribute to Earl Scruggs
Following the news that appeared on the BIB on 3 October, Loudon Temple of the Brookfield Knights agency reports that leading UK banjoist Leon Hunt (left) will be touring with his 'n-Tet' band next spring to support his forthcoming album of 'old-fashioned bluegrass' as a tribute to Earl Scruggs. Loudon writes:
We are hoping to bring the Leon Hunt n-Tet over to Ireland for a few dates at the end of April with their fabulous tribute show... I have interest from one venue already for the Saturday night (27 April) and need to add some around that - or leading up to it. Please let me know if you'd like to take the show. Info follows below and we are next week sending our review copies of the new album to the Irish media (print and radio) for review and radio plays. It is a fine album and is bound to attract a lot of attention.
