Niall Toner and IBMA WOB 2012

On 10 August, the IBMA invited members to send in brief videos, recommending attending this year's World of Bluegrass. We're glad to report that Niall Toner has responded with one that can be seen here on YouTube. Niall comments:

The video was made by Kyle (14) and Jay O'Neill (10), two of my grandsons who live in Newbridge, and they make videos under the banner of supertortoisedude.

Niall, together with I Draw Slow, will be at IBMA WOB this year; see Bluegrass Today, where you can also hear a clip of one of his latest songs, 'Million dollar bill'. If you think it sounds really good, there's a reason for that: Niall explains:

It's me on guitar and vocals, Keith Sewell on guitar and harmony vocals, Rob Ickes on Dobro, Ashby Frank on mandolin, and Viktor Krauss on bass; recorded at Loud Studios in Nashville in April 2012, engineered by Jake Burns.
