More Jack of Diamonds events

Thanks to Hugh Taggart and Tom Hanway for news of some of the many events forming part of this weekend's Jack of Diamonds Rhythm & Roots Festival in Dublin, beginning today.

Well Enough Alone are playing in the Mercantile on Dame St., Dublin 2, at half past midnight tonight (Fri. 17/Sat. 18 Aug.). There is no cover charge.

Tom Hanway will lead the Bluegrass Banjo workshop this Saturday (18 August), 1.00-2.00 p.m. at the Stag's Head, Dame Lane. Joining Tom are Dublin banjo ace Conor Daly and Hugh Taggart, demonstrating back-up, the G-run and bluegrass guitar tips. Bring your banjos and guitars. Free tabs!
