June in Kentucky: the IBMM's ROMP festival

For any bluegrassers who overshoot Westport, Co. Mayo, at the end of this month, the next stop must be the International Bluegrass Music Museum's ROMP (River Of Music Party) in Owensboro, KY, on the banks of the Ohio river.

As always in the past, ROMP 2012 (28-30 June) has a rich programme with top bands including some legends of bluegrass music. The IBMM has been diligent and generous in supporting bluegrass outside the USA, and anyone in a position to support ROMP should consider returning the compliment.
