Viper Central from Canada, who toured Ireland in early summer 2011, will be back just a little later this year as part of a tour in these islands during July and August. The band have made several tours in Britain, Ireland, and continental Europe as well as North America; this year they are releasing their third album,
Thump & howl.

Thanks to

Ulster American Folk Park at Omagh, Co. Tyrone, for the news that
Viper Central are scheduled to play at the Park on
Canada Day - Sunday 1 July. Details of further dates by the band in this island have not yet been announced.
The Park will stage its annual
Appalachian & Bluegrass Music Festival - the second oldest annual bluegrass event in this island, and the largest paying-in bluegrass event in Europe - on 31 Aug.-2 Sept. this year; details of the 2012 lineup will be announced soon. Richard and
