Old-time music at the Abbey, 9 Apr. 2012

Tomorrow evening (Monday 9 April) from 7.30 p.m. old-time music will be heard on the stage of the Abbey Theatre in Dublin, when Bill Whelan (banjo) and Dermy Diamond (fiddle), with Tony Shanahan (piano), accompany Sam Shepard (playwright, actor, writer, television and film director, folk singer) and Patti Smith ('Godmother of Punk'), who present an evening of music and readings in support of the Abbey Theatre’s New Playwrights Programme.
