Happy end of the beginning for bluegrass film

We learn with great pleasure that the new documentary film on bluegrass, The Porchlight Sessions, directed by Anna Schwaber, has hit its target of raising $60,000 before the 1 May deadline.Though the campaign for the funding to complete the project is now successfully over, visit the film's Kickstarter page for some very atmospheric photos - including one real stunner, presumably taken in a Nashville dressing room in the early 1970s, and featuring some of the most historic figures in bluegrass music. The Porchlight Sessions can also be followed on Facebook and Twitter.

PS: The 'stunner' of a photo can also be seen here.

PPS (1 May): We spoke too soon about the campaign being 'over'; it continued right up to the deadline, and the project has reached $10,000 over and above the target.
