Cork and Italy in Germany

Colm Murphy from Cork is the fiddler with Bluegrass Stuff, the oldest bluegrass band in Italy (founded 1977) and one of the oldest in Europe. The band has been recently taking in new members and the present lineup is shown above: Ruben Minuto (vocals, guitar), Colm (fiddle), Icaro Gatti (bass), Massimo Gatti (vocals, mandolin), and (on the far right) Matteo Ringressi (vocals, banjo). Second from the right is Swiss lead singer Tabea Anderfuhren (vocals, guitar), who usually leads her own trio, and will be joining Bluegrass Stuff when the band takes the stage at the 10th International Bühl Bluegrass Festival in the 'Bluegrass Metropolis' of Bühl, Germany, just over two weeks from now (4-5 May 2012). More details are on the European Bluegrass Blog.
