Black Mountain Opry launches in Belfast, 26 Apr. 2012

For news of the latest developments on the busy Belfast scene, thanks to Adele Ingram of One-A-Chord Music Promotions, who reports:

I'm excited to announce the launch of the Black Mountain Opry and I'm even more excited to have Cup O' Joe kick it off. A young family band of virtuoso multi-instrumentalists and a singer with the sweetest voice you'll ever hear. Expect similar sounds to Nickel Creek and Alison Krauss and you won't be disappointed.

As seen on the poster image, the Black Mountain Opry will be launched at 8.00 p.m. on Thursday 26 April in the Green Room Cafe at the Black Box, Belfast, venue for the monthly Belfast Pickin' Parlour (where a special tribute concert for Earl Scruggs will be held on Sun. 29 Apr.). Admission is free, musicians are welcome, and there will be an open session from 10.00 p.m.
