Bending the Strings: dates in the next few days

The bluegrass gigs are getting under way for Bending the Strings from this week, and if you would like to catch the band, you will see them at the following gigs this week.

This Wednesday (April 25th): The band take the stage at the Motor Neuron Support concert at Leopardstown Pavilion in the company of Foster & Allen, Ray Lynam, Trionagh Moore Allen, and John Murray, plus many more. Bending the Strings will perform halfway through the first half of the show and are doing a twenty-minute set.

Friday next (27th): Bending the Strings play Byrne's, Edenderry, 10.00 p.m.

Saturday next (28th): The band play the Mullingar Park Hotel, 10.30-12.30.

Sunday next (29th): The American Car Show, Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath.

Vinny, Moyra, Martin. & Gerry would love to see you at one (or indeed all) of the above gigs this week, and we look forward to meeting all our friends from the bluegrass community at one of the many festivals we play this year.

We have a brand new album which was recorded live at four different venues last year. We have spent the last few months editing it and the mix process is almost complete, so we will be launching it in advance of the festival season this year.

We look forward to the coming season and wish all our fellow bluegrass musicians a very successful 2012.
