Next up at The Bluegrass Pickin' Parlour, 25 Mar. 2012

Adele Ingram reports from the Bluegrass Pickin' Parlour at the Green Room in the Black Box, Belfast:

Next up... [Sun. 25 Mar. 2012] The White Mansions, a six-piece bluegrass/country band with banjo, fiddle, pedal steel, mandolin, guitars, and double bass. Think Hank Williams with a touch of Dan Tyminski and it's Soggy Bottom Boys eat your heart out.

Adele also reports on the Parlour's Facebook page about the venue's launch on 26 February:

A great day was had at the launch of the Bluegrass Pickin' Parlour yesterday. Thanks to Sarah at the Black Box, Andy and all the staff at the Green Room, Jayne Trimble and her fabulous band, the one and only Acoustic Dan & the Black Mountain River Dipsos (Wow!), The Saturday Magazine radio show and all the bluegrass boys and girls who showed up and played a blinder of a session after. Cheers and beers me dears. Oh and the pizza was delish.
