Kilkenny 2012 festival preview

The organising team of the Kilkenny Rhythm & Roots Festival have issued a preview of the 15th Festival (4-7 May 2012), for which tickets will go on sale this coming Friday (17 February 2012) at Rollercoaster Records: 'phone + 353 56 77 636 69.

Featured artists for 2012 include the Alabama Shakes (USA), Kitty, Daisy, and Lewis (UK), Amanda Shires (USA), Rod Picott (USA), Israel Nash Gripka (USA), Hiss Golden Messenger (USA), Dan Baird & Homemade Sin (USA), Willy Vlautin & Dan Eccles (USA), Richard Buckner (USA), Charlie Parr (USA), and Danny & the Champions of the World (UK). There will also be an 'audience' with celebrated broadcaster Andy Kershaw.
