Tupelo in Whelans, Dublin, 17 Dec. 2011

Thanks to Kevin Duffy, fiddle player with Dublin-based acoustic roots band Tupelo, for the news that the band will be playing upstairs at Whelan's, Wexford St., Dublin 2, on Saturday 17 December. Full details are on the poster (left; click on the image for an enlarged view). The band's press release quotes their lead singer, James Cramer:

I saw an Emmylou Harris performance on TV and I knew I had to have a fiddle in the band. It worked from the first song. You can search all your life and never find the right people but it was finally together and that was the start of Tupelo.
