Sacred Harp weekend in Belfast, 14-16 Oct. 2011

Thanks to Robert Wills for the news that Sacred Harp/ shape-note singing workshops will be held in Belfast this coming weekend, from Friday evening (14 Oct.) to Sunday 16 Oct. at Rosemary Hall, All Souls Church, 22 Elmwood Avenue - between the Lisburn Road and University Road, very near Queen's University.

The workshops will be conducted by Aldo Thomas Ceresa. Full details are given on the poster; click on the image for an enlarged view.

Sacred Harp singing is the deepest root of bluegrass harmony, and any devotee of bluegrass singing should benefit from these workshops. Thanks in particular to the Belfast and District Set Dancing and Traditional Music Society ('Belfast Trad'), sponsors of the weekend.
