Itinerary for Nashville tour 5-15 Nov. 2011

Thanks to Roger Ryan of the Country Music Association of Ireland for this itinerary of the CMAI trip to Nashville next month. Though the Country Music Association awards show is clearly the pivotal part of the trip, there are several items likely to interest bluegrass people. Roger can be contacted by e-mail.

Sat. 5 Nov. Arrive in Nashville. Flight from Dublin to Atlanta and on to Nashville, TN (Cumberland River playing at Station Inn on Saturday night).
Sun. 6 Nov. Sightseeing tour (all day). (12.00 Sunday: Walk of Fame induction ceremony at Downtown Park) (Night: Golden Note Awards Show.)
Mon. 7 Nov. Day and night off. Pickin' party at Ferrell Stowe's home in Ashland City (Mon. morning: filming interviews at downtown location for Hot Country TV).
Tues. 8 Nov. Johnny Cash/Conway Twitty tour. Night: Grand Ole Opry
Wed. 9 Nov. Day off. Night: CMA Awards Show for those who have tickets.
Thurs. 10 Nov. Night: CMA Country Christmas Show at Bridgestone Arena (Thurs. night: Blue Highway at Station Inn).
Fri. 11 Nov. Memphis: Graceland, Sun Studio, and Beale Street.
Sat. 12 Nov. General Jackson mid-day cruise (Sat. night: Dobro concert at Station Inn).
Sun. 13 Nov. Visit to Dollywood.
Mon. 14 Nov. Day and night off (Mon. night: Time Jumpers at Station Inn).
Tues. 15 Nov. Back to Nashville Airport for flight home.
Wed. 16 Nov. Arrive in Ireland.

Roger also is arranging a few shows while we are there. Staying at the Best Western, Division Street.
