Tim O'Brien & The Crossing at Lahinch, 23 Aug. - and on tour

Thanks to David Hope for the news that Kenny's Bar at Lahinch, Co. Clare, will present the Grammy-Award-winning artist Tim O'Brien (USA) & 'The Crossing on Tuesday 23 August 2011. Doors 8.00 p.m. Tickets €20; available to purchase online.

The group will be playing other dates in Ireland (see below) as well as the Tønder Festival in Denmark (25-28 Aug.). 'The Crossing' for this tour consists of Mike McGoldrick (flute, uilleann pipes, whistles), Arty McGlynn (guitars), John McCusker (fiddle, whistles), John Jo Kelly (bodhrán), and Heidi Talbot (vocals), with Tim on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and vocals.
