Open House Festival relocates to 22-26 June 2011

Thanks to Kieran Gilmore, of the Coors Light Open House Festival in Belfast, for the news that the 13th Festival will be held at midsummer this year, instead of September as in the past:

Warm summer evenings, cold beer, heart warming music - we hope you'll agree, it's a great move. We'll still have all your favourite Open House ingredients - headline shows in Custom House Square, intimate gigs in venues throughout the Cathedral Quarter, free traditional music pub sessions, ChilliFest PLUS the brand new Breakthrough series of gigs in the Oh Yeah Music Centre.

The Friday evening concert will include the Avett Brothers (USA), who have recently appeared with their guitar and 5-string banjo on the front covers of the Fretboard Journal and Acoustic Guitar magazines. More details are on the Festival e-newsletter; the Festival is also on Twitter and Facebook.
