The new Bluegrass Europe

Issue #79 of Bluegrass Europe, the European Bluegrass Music Association's official magazine, was posted out earlier this month to EBMA members and subscribers worldwide. This is the first issue of BE's rebirth as an independent quarterly magazine under a new editorial team (including Chris Keenan of Longford), and with 40 pages it's a very impressive piece of work by everyone involved.

Issue #79 has many more pages in colour, and in particular many more advertisements, than before, and a wide range of content with articles, features, event calendar, and reviews. Greg Cahill of Special Consensus is just one of the subjects, and Niall Toner contributes his list of ten top bluegrass albums. More detail is on the European Bluegrass Blog.

Bluegrass Europe is free to all EBMA members; non-members can subscribe for €25 a year (four issues). You can subscribe online or by writing to the editorial office: see the BE page on the EBMA website.

And check out the new look of the EBMA website itself, which has been thoroughly refurbished by the EBMA's webmaster, chairperson, and chief editor Angelika Torrie, with graphic design by Liz Meesters.
