Marie McManus passes

Tony O'Brien of the Athy Bluegrass Music Association sends the sad news that Marie McManus, wife of Sean McManus, passed away yesterday (Sunday) after an illness of several months. Her funeral will take place after 12.00 mass in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, on Wednesday. We wish to express our hopes for the repose of Marie's spirit, and our sympathy for her husband Sean in his loss. Sean is one of the most constant supporters of bluegrass music in Ireland.
