Little Ass Birds to play at EWOB Festival

Thanks to Conor Doyle of the Little Ass Birds of Dublin, who reports on the band's successful appearance on NewsTalk (see the BIB for 6 March), where they performed two songs live on air and had a chat with Orla Barry.

The Little Ass Birds are also one of the bands scheduled to showcase at this year's European World of Bluegrass (EWOB) festival (2-4 June 2011) in Voorthuizen, the Netherlands. As well as looking forward to playing at EWOB, they hope to get other gigs while there (from Thursday 2 June to Monday 7 June) to help cover some of the expenses of the trip. This news has already been posted on the European Bluegrass Blog; but if any BIB reader can offer the Birds a gig in the Netherlands in that time, or knows of an opportunity, it would be much appreciated.
