County Line in Ireland, summer 2011

Thanks to Uri Kohen, organiser of the Westport Folk & Bluegrass Festival, for news about County Line, the bluegrass trio from Carbondale, Illinois, who will be playing at Westport for this year's festival towards the end of June. On St Patrick's day this year, the local online entertainment guide hailed them as 'Carbondale's honorary Irishmen'.

Uri wishes to let other event organisers and venue operators know that County Line will be in Ireland for about two weeks, and - as with the Dust Busters, who were mentioned on the BIB last Saturday - they are looking for as many gigs as possible in that time in addition to their Westport appearances.
