Roots music and Americana at the Ubangi Stomp Club, Dublin

Thanks to Paul Foley, who runs the Ubangi Stomp Club at the Odessa, 13 Dame Court, Dublin 2, and came across the BIB in connection with the Wiyos (USA), who will be playing at the Ubangi on 13 April. Paul writes:

Though we cover quite a few types of music, our focus is mostly on American roots, rockabilly, and country. We have those swinging country boogie boys, Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys playing on St Patrick's Day, and the Wiyos on 13 April. We also have the wonderful Pokey LaFarge & the South City Three in July.

I just wanted to make you aware of our existence and I will keep in touch as we add extra events. Well done on your blog, it is great to see people working to keep real music alive and well in Ireland.
