Baltimore Fiddle Fair lineup taking shape

Thanks to Fiddlin' Tim Hawkins for the news that what has been announced so far of the lineup for this year's Baltimore Fiddle Fair (to be held in Baltimore, Co. Cork, on 5-8 May 2011) suits him very well indeed.

Both American old-time music (the Foghorn Trio, Stephanie Coleman with Cleek Schrey) and Shetland fiddling (Aly Bain, Chris Stout, Catriona McKay) will be strongly represented, and the organisers expect to confirm more performers in the near future. Anyone who favours the instrument which the Father of Bluegrass considered the most important in his music should keep an eye on the Fiddle Fair website.
