Live at Graves Mountain

BIB readers may have seen an item a few days ago on the Bluegrass Blog about the release of two videos and a CD by the Rural Rhythm record company in the US, to celebrate two things: fifty-five years of the record label, and the Graves Mountain Bluegrass Festival in Syria, VA.

Rural Rhythm has a very high-powered artist roster, and the twelve tracks of the album, recorded live at this year's festival, add up to some correspondingly powerful music. For a taste, see the 'All-star jam' video, culminating in a hair-raising vocal trio on 'Once more' by Russell Moore, Lou Reid, and Audie Blaylock.
