Steve Martin does more work for bluegrass

Thanks to Richard F Thompson of the BBMA for this link to a video of Steve Martin on stage with the Steep Canyon Rangers, successfully combining his talents as comedian with those of banjo-picker and singer in front of a first-class bluegrass band. Richard adds:

Steve Martin... has done a tremendous amount for bluegrass music during the past two years.

To underline this: as you may have seen from the original Bluegrass Blog, and as you'll certainly see from his website, Steve Martin has set up a generous annual Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass, and the first award has gone to Noam Pikelny, banjoist with Chris Thile's Punch Brothers band.
